Water and Mowing
Schedule
- Your newly
planted sod requires about 1" of water per watering. To gauge this amount
you can place an empty soda can about 6' away from the sprinkler. Once there
is an inch of water in the can move the sprinkler to the next area.
- Reflected heat
along buildings dries out sod quicker than other areas and this should be
taken into consideration. Be sure to water these areas more often.
- 1" of
water should be applied to sod about 20 minutes after the first strip has
been laid.
